Herpes Treatment Options:
There are many known toxins that deter Herpes Simplex. Clorox Bleach, for example, is toxic to herpes. This agent, however, is not considered an anti-viral agent largely because it is also extremely toxic to the living cell the herpes virus is infecting. Since topically treating HSV infections typically require repetitive or up to daily applications, the use of volatile substances like DMSO which has a high penetration rate into skin have been of recent interest as a medium. DMSO is also known to illicit pain and burning sensations which provide alarm and remain controversial as to the long term effects on tissue with repetitive or daily use. And with the most recent fact that the transmission or spread of Herpes Simplex can occur without an outbreak also gives credence to repetitive use. Yang Zhi Herbal Herpes Lip Balm Cure is DMSO-free. Thus, this is important since toxins that have little known in-vitro research completed can possibly be prone to having additional deleterious effects to other functions of the cell that may not immediately present.
Over 15 years of in vitro research (i.e. study of the herpes virus while infecting a living cell) have been successful in identifying a few anti-viral agents which subsequently have been developed into prescription and OTC topical and oral treatments. These treatments typically know how the cream or pill fights the herpes virus at the cellular level. Just as Yang Zhi Herbal Herpes Lip Balm Cream provides mechanisms of action of the Antiviral activity: Kills the Herpes or HSV Virus on Contact and Stops Replication of the HSV Virus. The base cream in Yang Zhi Herbal Herpes Lip Balm Cream also has been shown to reduce scaring after outbreaks since drying and cracking produce tissue damage and scars.
Our Special Traditional Chinese lip balm formulation does not involve boiling extracts, and Traditional Chinese formulation protocols have proved to be superior for this Herpes herbal combination.
Oral prescription treatment is widely considered the Gold Standard in effectiveness for this STD. But not all anti-viral Oral prescription treatments have the same success rate for genital herpes. Caution should also be exercised with Herbal ORAL preparations because side-effect and drug-drug interaction studies have likely not been done to the extent of ORAL prescriptions. Also, anti-viral Topical prescriptions can typically reduce out-break duration for Cold Sores or Fever Blisters, but are expensive and sold in small amounts like 2 grams.
Prescription cream medications such as acyclovir but mostly penciclovir have shown to be effective against Cold Sores because they produce anti-viral effects against HSV I, but less so with HSV II.
